Cynthia Devine Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cynthia Devine of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 11, 2022 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwyn Anderson and Agnes Kraemer Anderson (Haag); her former husband Carl Grosskreutz; her sisters-in-law, Donna Kraemer of Chippewa Falls and Leah Weinhold of Sheboygan Falls; her stepfather Herbert Anderson; her daughter-in-law Cindy Grosskreutz; and her brother Calvin Kraemer.

She is survived by: her close friends, England, Israel, Egypt and Turkey; her children, Charles Grosskreutz (Jennifer Jensema) of Sheboygan Falls, Christine Kuitert (Richard) of Sheboygan, Connie Meyer (Fred) of Sheboygan, Dennis Grosskreutz (Stephanie) of Florida and Carol Butzen (Richard Ziegler) of Sheboygan; her grandchildren, Shari Forbes, Vicki Filz, Jessica Kohn (Craig), Amy Reinert (Anton) and Bryan Meyer; her granddaughter-in-law Anne Ryan; her grandchildren, Eric Meyer (Angela), Christopher Daley, Carrie Peterson (Tom), Mark Boswell, Nikkie Fisher (Scott Quasius) and Matthew Butzen (Samantha); and her siblings, Rachel Steinke of Plymouth, Norbert Kraemer (Janice) of Waldo and Judith Thiel of Bellevue, WA.. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, many step-grandchildren, step great, grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Cynthia's name for the Sheboygan County Historical Research Center, St. Luke United Methodist Women, or the United Methodist Children's Services in Milwaukee.
