He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bussin and Myra Pohland Bussin; his uncle Roy; his aunt Laurette Pohland; his siblings-in-law, Richard, Ronald Thimmig and Shirley Renzelman (Jerry); and his nephew Patrick Gerhold.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene M. Thimmig; his daughter Julie Schmidt (Kurt); his grandson Dylan Schmidt; his nieces and nephews, Jon Renzelman, Denise Aigner (Phil) and Terry Renzelman; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Nola, Nate, Emily and Abby. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
A memorial fund has been established in his name.
