He is survived by: his mother Doris Lauersdorf (Burkhardt); his spouse Marilyne Jakum; his children, Katherine Backhaus (Eric), James Lauersdorf and Kimberly Wimmler (Payten); his grandson Brian; his pet Pickles; his siblings, Charmaine Rodich, Roger Lauersdorf (Colleen), Joan Schweitzer (Marvin), Darwin Lauersdorf (Alice), Sandra Bonnett (Steven), Cameron Lauersdorf (Karen), Barbara Hetzel (Frank), Debra Lavin (Thomas), Dawn Beinemann (Ted) and Glenn Lauersdorf; and his sister-in-law Cheryle Jakum (David Swan). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
