She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Schinabeck and Carol Schinabeck (Young). She is survived by: her husband Bill; her son Troy Carpenter (Brewers); and her siblings, Mike Schinabeck, Mark Schinabeck, Carol Arpke (Jim) and Ann Metzer. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Betty's name.
