She was predeceased by: her parents, Arvid Asplund and Leona Asplund; her brothers, Maurice Asplund (Patricia) and Lawrence "Buzz" Asplund (Glee); her daughter-in-law Katherine Ariens; and her brother-in-law Lloyd Dickenshied.
She is survived by: her grandson Chase of Sheboygan's South Pier; her children, Jeff (Andrea) and Julie Mirecki (Steve); her stepgrandchildren, Chase Mirecki and Alexandra Johnson (Chris); her stepgreat-grandson Copper Johnson; her sister Jacque Dickenshied; her nieces, Dale O'Donnell (Pat) of Lindenhurst, IL and Pattie Raether (Alan); her great-niece Sandee Sprang; and her faithful Norwich Terrier.
Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, Two Rivers, the Sheboygan County Humane Society, or the Katherine Ariens Dog Park, Charlotte Harbor, Florida.
