He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Herbert, Sr. and Lorraine Mary Bugbee (Young); his sister Joan; his mother-in-law Wava Kearney; his brother-in-law Gregory Kearney; and his nephew James Tyler Bugbee.
He is survived by: his wife Melissa Kathleen Kearney; his sons, Gregory Bugbee (Sandy) of Whitefish Bay, WI and Ryan Bugbee of Sheboygan, WI.; his grandchildren, Madison, Maxwell, Joseph, Hunter and Emily; and his siblings-in-law, Vic Kearney (Margaret Harrington), Diane Thompson and Colleen Sorensen (Greg).
