He was predeceased by: his parents, Max and Lily; his children, Elissa Schwartz (Joshua), Gregg Weltz (Tracy Brunette) and Pamela Weltz (Mark Zilembo); his grandchildren, Jason Schwartz and Lauren Kasoff (Daniel); and his children, Olivia (Logan Rubio), Max Weltz, Chloe and Francesca Zilembo.
He is survived by: his pet Patches; his wife Judith; and his brothers, Gerald Weltz and Jeffrey Weltz.
