He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hoftiezer and Marie Hoftiezer (Potter); his wife Marlene Hopeman; his son-in-law Tony Horneck; his great grandchild Lillian Wrensch; his siblings, Henry Hoftiezer (Frances), Allen Hoftiezer (Lois), Kenneth Hoftiezer (Dorothy), David Hoftiezer, Carol Sandee (Miles), Marian Friedrichs (Tom), Vivian Hoftiezer and Dorothy Dulmes (Ralph); and his siblings-in-law, James Hinz, Earl Lohuis, Mark Stokdyk and Audrey Ringel (Don).
He is survived by: his daughters, Vicky Horneck and Sue Wrensch (Cory); his grandchildren, Zac Scholten (Danielle), Derek Wrensch and Cheyenne Wrensch (Kevin Looby); his great grandchildren, Maddy, Lily, William, Lydia, Meredith, Charlotte, Lenny and Chase; his sister Ruth Hintz; and his sisters-in-law, Angie Hoftiezer, Janice Lohuis and Dianne Stokdyk. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the First Reformed Church - Sheboygan Falls (527 Giddings Ave, Sheboygan Falls, WI 53085). A memorial service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested in Bill's name to Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
