He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Keyes and Arletta Keyes (Scharinger); his wife Kathleen Reineking; and his sister-in-law Jackie Keyes. He is survived by: his son Mike Keyes (Kathy) of Austin, TX; his grandchildren, Kyle Keyes (Kristin) and Kelli Hoag (Matt); his brothers, Gilbert Keyes of Sheboygan and Wayne Keyes (Kay) of Plymouth; his sister-in-law Judy Knuth (Ralph) of Plymouth; and his nieces, Leah Knuth and Lori Gumm. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested in his name to Blessed Trinity or Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
