He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Heuver and Ellen Heuver (Wolfert); his brother David Heuver; and his brother-in-law Larry Prinsen. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Weekley; his children, Nicki Clason (Chad), Shawn Heuver, Trisha Navor (Bobby) and Kris Mews (Troy); his grandchildren, Isaac, Andrew, Anika, Eva Clason, Aria Heuver, Logan Wiggins, Caia, Henry Navor, Alyse and Lauren Mews; his sisters, Mary Prinsen, Diane Hilbelink (Glenn) and Laurie Peterson (Gerry); and his sister-in-law Judy Heuver.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge, Lakeside Academy (Faith-based residential treatment center for adolescent teen boys) or The Christian Missionary Alliance (memo: Conakry Youth Center) in Russ's name.
