He was predeceased by: his father Karl Heinecke; his siblings, Barb Heinecke, John Heinecke and Pete Heinecke; his mother-in-law Carol Barthels; and his brother-in-law Dale Reineke.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Barthels; his daughters, Becky Braun (Andy) and Karen Steinhardt (Brad); his grandchildren, Lauren Braun, Alex Braun, Reagen Steinhardt and Kylie Steinhardt; his sisters, Linda Schoening (Dave), Kendra Ford (Dave), Nancy Schmidtman (Bob) and Debbie Reineke; his father-in-law William Barthels; and his sister-in-law Debbie Barthels. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Paul's name.
