He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert and Dorothy; and his sister-in-law Judy Cherveny. He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his son Scott; his daughter-in-law Kortney; his grandchildren, Abbey, Alyse and Alex of De Pere, Wisconsin; his son Jason; his daughter-in-law Jenn; his grandchildren, Ella, Bennett, Carson and Reis of Denver, Colorado.; and his brother Michael of Cedarburg, Wisconsin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and uncle.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in honor of Leigh may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Sheboygan County Lutheran High School, or designated for scholarships at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri.
