He is survived by: his parents, Alan and Marilyn; his brother Mark; his sister-in-law Lynn; his nephews, Erik and Alex; his niece Rachel (Jordan); his close friends, Scott, Natalia Wilson and Melanie Johnson; and also Lyric Johnson.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name.
