He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sr. Treat and Irene Hosley Treat; and his siblings, Patricia, Jan and Charles.

He is survived by: his wife Priscilla; his children, James Treat of Plymouth, Joel Treat (Janet) of Cedar Grove, Jennifer Jones of Wichita, KS and Jonathan Treat of Fond du Lac; his grandchildren, Carl, Cizzy, Eric and Ann; his siblings, Robert Treat and Nancy Frederick (Frank); and his brother-in-law Hiram Gerrish. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested.
