He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Josephine Springmann (Roussillon) and James Walter Springmann; his siblings, James Walter Springmann Jr., Francis E. Springmann, Geraldine Ruleman (Springmann) and Don Springmann; and his brother-in-law Werner Pauls.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Madison; his wife Katherine Springmann of Sheboygan Falls; his son Russell Springmann; his daughter-in-law Neissa of Oklahoma; his stepdaughter Lisa Berg (Cooke); his son-in-law Andrew Berg; his grandchildren, Malaine Springmann, Durant Springmann and Everly Berg; and his siblings, Valerie Pauls (Springmann) of Tequesta, FL and Gerome Springmann of West Virginia.
