She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Schroeder and Veronica Schroeder (Rommelfanger); her husband Edward Garczynski; and her siblings, Marie Muehlberg, William Schroeder, Doris M. Schroeder and Robert Schroeder.
She is survived by: her sons, Alan Garczynski (Jeanne) of Sheboygan and Drew Garczynski of Plymouth; her brother Richard Schroeder; and her sisters-in-law, Agnes Schroeder and Judy Schroeder. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established in Gertrude's name.
