With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Evelyn J. Van Wyk (Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Evelyn left this world on March 5, 2025 at the age of 101, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Garret Hoitink and Henrietta Hoitink (Prange); her husband William P VanWyk; her parents-in-law, Peter and Elizabeth Van Wyk; her siblings, Garret (John Hoitink) and LaVerne Veldman (Willard); and her siblings-in-law, Walton Walvort, Adrian Van Wyk (Marion), Andrew Van Wyk (Catherine), Kunert Van Wyk, Minnie Veldman (Melvin), Peternella Huibregtse (Donald), Claudia Bresser (Russel) and LaVonne Van Wyk.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Nysse (Ken) and Rich Van Wyk (Ann); her grandchildren, Kimberly Schachel, Zachary Van Wyk (Erin), Michael Van Wyk and Angela Van Wyk (Brian Croce); her great grandchildren, Bella and Laszlo; her sister Neva Walvort; and her siblings-in-law, Joan Hoitink, Shirley Hoitink and John Van Wyk. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Reformed Church - Sheboygan Falls (527 Giddings Ave, Sheboygan Falls, WI 53085). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested in her name to First Reformed Church.
