He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Zimmermann and Mildred Zimmermann (Jacobs); and his siblings, Arlene Renk (William), Laura Stricker (Arwin) and Art Zimmermann (Madeline).
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Kvithyll; his sons, Steve Zimmermann (Shelly), Mark Zimmermann (Gina) and Al Zimmermann; his grandchildren, Becky Medved (Dusty), Brittany Quintel (Josh), Hannah, Hope, Brad and Brett Zimmermann; his great grandchildren, Blake, Owen Medved, Noah and Gabriel Quintel; his brother Tom Zimmermann (Susie); his sister-in-law Kris Peterson; his niece Amanda Zipperer; and his great-niece Savannah Peterson.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Ed's name for Sharon S. Richardson Hospice and Camo Quilt Project.
