She was predeceased by: her parents, John Prinsen and Evelyn Prinsen; her husband Russel Boeldt; and her sister Luella Hanke-Soerens. She is survived by: her daughter Faye Gerhartz (Gary); her grandsons, Gavin Gerhartz (Katherin) and Gregory Gerhartz; her great grandchildren, Nathan Gerhartz (Ashley) and Nicholas Gerhartz; and her friend Ken Nagy. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, Dorothy had requested memorials be made to Pine Haven Christian Communities, Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice, and First Reformed Church in Sheboygan Falls.
