He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Koenigs and Marion Koenigs (Knaus); his son Jeffery Koenigs; his grandson Matthew Koenigs; his parents-in-law, Marie and Ambrose Andrew; and his sister-in-law Mary Knecht (Tom).
He is survived by: his wife Roseann Andrew; his children, Colleen Vollbrecht (Greg) of Sheboygan Falls, Kurt Koenigs of Sheboygan and Scott Koenigs (Sherry) of Cumming, GA; his daughter-in-law Sarah Harms (David) of Oshkosh; his grandchildren, Peter Vollbrecht (Melanie), Amber Manley (Sam), Josie Koenigs, Marion Koenigs, Megan Koenigs and Jenna Koenigs; his great grandchild Francine Vollbrecht; and his siblings-in-law, Elaine Lefeber (Marty), Vern Andrew (Carol) and Ken Andrew (Katie). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Blessed Trinity Parish and Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
