He was predeceased by: his daughter Amy; his parents, Roy Grovogel and Lettie Grovogel; and his siblings, Erlene Grovogel and Oliver Grovogel.
He is survived by: his wife Jo An; his children, Tonya Kemmling (Dan) of Colorado Springs, CO and Carl Grovogel (Susan) of Sioux Falls, SD; and his grandchildren, Tiffani Blackwell (Mick), Stephanie Zwak (Mike) and Cassandra Sperl (Nick). He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
