He was predeceased by: his mother Agnes N. Gauthier (Pete Gauthier); his wife Gloria June Summers; his son Craig; his grandparents, Mitchell and Charlotte Nacotee; his siblings, Jim Hill, Dennis Nacotee, Jerry Nacotee, Johnny "Gun" Gauthier, Toots Menore and Panzy Gauthier; and his great-nephew Domanique Sanapaw.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Smith (Jen), Rebecca Komanekin (Jason), Lorraine Nacotee, Tammy Komanekin (Jamie), Thomas Nacotee, Jr. (Evelyn) and Shirley LaTender (Donald); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Ian, Tyler (Libby Awonohopay), Jason Jr., Nariah, Lashay, Areyah, Abby, Lukas, Jamison, Tae-Sha, Elmyrah, Keira, Thomas III, Kaylee, Marquise, Kiandra, Amrani, Amari, Riley and Kya; his great grandchild Giovanni; his son Russell Peters; his godchildren, Shawnee and Dean; and his siblings, Evelyn Nacotee, Rosie "Gun" Madosh, Jayne Nacotee, Merlynn Johnson (James), Lee Py, Rose "Tootsie" Waupoose, Richard Nacotee and Tony Gauthier. He is also survived by his children, nieces, and nephews.
