He is survived by: his children, Steve Hanes (Amy) of Shawano and Brenda Hanes of Appleton; his sister Karen Belongia (Roger); and his sisters-in-law, Audrey and Judy Hanes. He is also survived by five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren.
