It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell P. Schmidt of Shawano, Wisconsin, born in Reedsburg, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 21, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Schmidt and Elsa Schmidt (Drieschmeier); and his sisters, Bernice Schroeder and Lenore Shird. He is survived by: his wife Sally Schmidt; his children, Jennifer Lorge (Tim) and Steve Schmidt (Jolene); and his grandchildren, Kaitlin and Sam Lorge. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
