She was predeceased by: her parents, Norbert Thomas and Leona Thomas (Schuler); her husband Wallace Fuhrmann; her daughter Nancy Spang; her grandson Christopher Spang; and her brother David Thomas.
She is survived by: her son James "Jim" Fuhrmann (Lori); and her grandchildren, Jason Fuhrmann (Mandi), Justin Spang (Kayla) and Kari Spang. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for the American Cancer Society.
