He is survived by: his sons, Brian Kern (Latoria) of Las Vegas and Aaron Kern of Cudahy, WI; his grandchildren, Austin, Peyton Kern (Raenne), Faith, James and Tristan; his stepgranddaughter Dena Anderson; and his great grandchildren, Zion Anderson, Jelani Anderson and Penelope Kern. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to St. James Lutheran School.
