He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Dickie and Lillian Dickie (Gristeau); his wife Audrey Hayes; his children, Theodore Corn-Dickie and Nora Hayes; his son-in-law Joseph Sanapaw; his siblings, Duane "Mokey" Gristeau and Elizabeth "Binky" Feather; his grandparents, Joseph and Ethel Gristeau; and his stepfather Howard Tourtillott.
He is survived by: his children, Kandi Peters, Jeri Corn-Sanapaw, Macie Hayes and Richard Dickie, Jr.; his grandchildren, Brett Hayes, Richard Hayes (Emily), Lorena "Sweetheart" Hayes and Ronald Dickie; his great grandchildren, Evalynn Hayes and Jane Lillian Hayes; and his cousin Ronald Dickie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
