He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond J. Rommelfaenger and Eleanore Rommelfaenger (Yerkman); his children, Robert Rommelfaenger and Betty Rommelfaenger; his brother Roger Rommelfaenger; and his son-in-law Rick Schelk.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Sprengel of Shawano; his children, Charyl Schelk of Shawano, Donna Rommelfaenger of Racine and Scott Rommelfaenger of Shawano; his grandchildren, Jeremy Hengst of Milwaukee, Christopher Schelk of Shawano and Amber Schultz of Shawano; and his siblings, Peter Rommelfaenger (Patty) of Richfield and Karen Zimmer of Cedar Grove. He is also survived by five great-grandsons.
