In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Melvin leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Melvin may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Gutt and Lynda Gutt (Yanke); his wife Florence Hoernke; and his sister Virginia Fromnes. He is survived by: his children, Karen Leupke (Steve) of Bonduel, Ronald Gutt of Shawano, Barbara Konkel (Russ) of Shawano and Nancy Larsen (Randy) of Denmark. He is also survived by his four children, 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Swedberg Funeral Home (518 W 5th St, Shawano, WI 54166). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
