She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Mueller and Frieda Mueller (Deede). She is survived by: her husband Henry Berner of Shawano; her children, Mark Braun (Deb Stezenski) of Shawano, Mindy Braun of Holmen, WI, David Braun (Kathy) of Vancouver, WA and Daniel Braun (Kathy) of Shawano; her stepsons, Mark Berner (Karen) of Fresno, CA, Scott Berner (Kathy) of Naples, FL and Brian Berner of Green Bay; her grandchildren, Abbey Fletcher (Ben), Alyssa Olson, Andrew Braun (Heidi), Nathan Braun (Holly), Joshua Braun, Matthew Braun (Maggie Huang), Haanah Braun and Maris Braun; and her stepgrandchildren, Alan, Emily and Amy Berner. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers and plants, the family prefers memorials in Maxine's name to St. James Lutheran Church and School.
