He was predeceased by: his mother Karen Van Buren (Eckley); his brother Chris Van Buren; and his pet Ella. He is survived by: his wife Jessica Van Buren; his father Erwin Van Buren (Gail); his siblings, Kay Kangas (Wendy Mathison), Kent Van Buren (Megan), Rebecca Van Buren, Barry Van Buren (Sarah Robbins) and Brenda Bahls (Ken); his parents-in-law, Patty and Joe Schroeder; his sister-in-law Amanda Reinke (Ben); and his pets, Zeus and Shmizzle. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
