She is survived by: her children, Orlin "Louie" Delabrue and Yvonne "Fonzie" Mazzeffi (Bill); her grandchildren, Matthew Shiroma, Charles Delabrue and Maxine Delesco (Jesse); her pet Alley; and her siblings, Ronald "Ronnie" Dickie (Correen) and Jeanette "Nettie" Waupoose. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Cookie worked for a number of years for the Chicago Chapter of The Arthritis Foundation.
