He is survived by: his wife Carey Brautigam; his sons, Maxwell and Boden; his mother Veronica Hanauer; his siblings, Dan Hanauer, Jr. (Julie) of Shawano, Dave Hanauer (Tracy) of Middleton, Cynthia Grisa (David) of Keytesville, Wendy Senzig (Todd) of Shawano and Joe Hanauer (Susan) of Madison; his mother-in-law Sue Brautigam of Appleton; and his siblings-in-law, Brad Brautigam (Colette) of Appleton and Gina Bojarski (Jeff) of Appleton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives, many friends, and his dog.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
