It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion F. Gauerke of Shawano, Wisconsin, born in Bonduel, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 23, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Schmidt and Esther Schmidt (Boerst). She is survived by: her former husband David Kortbein; her children, Marjorie Rohloff of Shawano, David Kortbein (Barb) of New London, Margaret Kane (Sean) of Green Bay and Luther Kortbein (Sondra) of Cecil; her grandchildren, Kevin Rohloff, Chad Rohloff (Mel), Kris Rohloff and Daniel Kane (Emily); her great grandchildren, Zander, Zara, Zay, Zakira Rohloff, Abbey Roholff, Vincent and William Kane; and her sister Ruth Hock (Ken) of New London. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers and plants, memorials are preferred to St. James Lutheran Church Ladies Aid Society, in Marion's name.
