She is survived by: her husband Robert Escalante of Shawano; her children, James Waupoose of Shawano, Amy Hernandez (David) of Shawano and Kristy Wilber Waupoose of Green Bay; her granddaughter Tasheena; her siblings, Joe Matusewic of Ironwood, MI and Mary Matson (Jerry) of Iron Belt, WI; her close friend Tory Gladue; and her pets, Puddles, Bubbles, Emily and Awaehsaeh. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
