She was predeceased by: her parents, George Thimke and Effie Thimke (Fink); her husband Silas Darling; her stepson Norman "Si" Darling; and her brothers-in-law, Norman Rindt and Vernon Ainsworth.
She is survived by: her son Joel Darling; her stepdaughter-in-law Barbara Darling; her stepgrandchildren, Daniel Darling (Karen), Faye Dodge (Steve) and Sandy Panchot (Mike); and her siblings, Mavis Rindt of Shawano, Betty Ainsworth of Shawano and Jim Thimke (Barbara) of Shawano. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
