With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph R. Thelen of Shawano, Wisconsin, born in Mobile, Alabama, who passed away on December 27, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Thelen and Bonita Thelen (Haevers); and his siblings, Jack Thelen (Mardi Ludolph) and Barbara Bohr (Jack). He is survived by: his wife Micki Thelen of Shawano; his daughters, Karisa Schulze (Dean), Mary Kast (J. D.) and Jenny Thelen-Osgood (Brett); his grandchildren, Joe Kast (Ashley), Adrea Kast (Brent Kain), Sam Schulze, Jack Osgood and Luke Osgood; his great grandchildren, Shelton Kain, Olivia Kast and Hadlynn Kast; his sister Mary Lou Kuhn (Mike); his sister-in-law Nancy Wendorf-Thelen; his nephew Jim Bohr (Amy); and his nieces, Mary Krueger (Buzz) and Patti Lefebvre (Dave). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
