It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jonathan Gavin Hanchett (Shawano, Wisconsin), born in Elgin, Illinois, who passed away on January 12, 2020, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Hanchett and Carolyn Hanchett; his son Calvin; and his siblings, James and Elizabeth.

He is survived by: his wife Stephanie of Shawano; his children, Jonathan (Sarah) of Quincy, IL, Joseph of Bristol, England, Benjamin of Chicago, IL, Sarah of Shawano, William of Shawano and Robert Powless of Shawano; his grandchildren, Evalina, Sonia, Gabriella, Ezra, Simeon of Quincy, IL, Noah, Isaac, Bethany, Mara (Shawano) and Ganawabhi (Shawano); and his siblings, Tom Hanchett (Joyce), Dave Hanchett (Ellie), Sally Gutierrez (Peter), Mark Hanchett (Anne) and Samuel Hanchett (Nina). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
