With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Allen Metoxen of Shawano, Wisconsin, born in Oneida, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 1, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Metoxen and Mary Metoxen (King). He is survived by: his wife Shirley John; his children, Jesse Metoxen (Mary), Jennifer Wilber (Warren) and Allen Sanchez (Leighann); his grandchildren, Jason, Shatara (Sabrina), Jesse, John, Cainen (Verenice), Natasha (Mequon), Westlyn and Emmette; his great grandchild Ezra; his godchildren, Ramsey Price and Christy Tolzman; and his siblings, Audrey Williams (Floyd), Merlin Metoxen, Alfred Metoxen (Patsy), Laura Pruitt and Bobby Metoxen (Roxanne). He is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
