He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Martin and Selma Martin (Loberg); and his brother Kenneth. He is survived by: his wife Mary Wiater; his children, Lynn Martin (Sharon), Dean Martin (Vicki) and Debra Heinz (James); his grandchildren, Jimmy Heinz (Lindsey), Andrew Heinz, Erik Heinz (Kylie), Jacob Martin (Chris), Jessica Selle (Ben), Del Martin (Bryanna), Michael Heinz, Scott Heinz (Melanie) and Todd Heinz; and his brother Philip Martin (Char). He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made out to Zion Lutheran Church Choir or St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
