It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary James Nygaard of Shawano, Wisconsin, born in Menominee, Michigan, who passed away on February 12, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Nygaard and Elaine Nygaard (Courtois); his close friends, Murphy and Maddie; his parents-in-law, Walter and Loretta Sauer; and his brother Mark Nygaard.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Sauer; his brothers, Tom Nygaard and John Nygaard (Donna); his siblings-in-law, Kathy Jessen (Larry), Nancy Fix (Larry), James Sauer (Barb), Vicki Wiesner (Don) and Mary Blitzke (Luke); and his close friends, Dick and Mary Sauer. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
