He is survived by: his daughters, Wendy Fritz (Jeff) and Jenny Mailahn (Seth); his grandchildren, Sam, Hatty Fritz, Charlie and Jace Mailahn; his close friend Susan Kriescher; his siblings, Katie Hietpas (Jack), Cherie Schellinger, Walking Eagle Burr, Jeff Burr (Dee), Randy Burr (Tammy), Todd Burr and Burdette Burr, Jr.; and his pets, Thorn and Hank. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, many friends.
