He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Sorensen; his children, Rebecca Smits (Norb), Debra Retzlaff (John) and Thomas Tessmann (Kelley); his grandchildren, Candyce Legois, Jr. (Wayne), Brittany Polczinski (Lane), Tyler Van Asten (Samantha), Travis Van Asten (Amanda), Jennifer Van Kauwenberg (Josh), Jason Wegner (Mindy), Gavin Vandersteen, Aiden Busch-Tessmann and Liam Tessmann; and his siblings, John Tessmann (Terri), Daniel Tessmann (Crystal) and Mary Ann Slaasted (Jack). He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
