He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferdinand Gast and Velma Joyce Gast (Cunningham). He is survived by: his children, Curt Gast (Joana Remeikiene) of Shawano, Chien and His; his grandchildren, Kyle, Nicole, Jordan Van Oss and Ana O'Brien; his siblings, Claude Gast of Shawano, Bonnie Raddant (Willard) of Smyrna, TN, Joyce "Cookie" Krueger of Shawano, Gary Gast (Maureen) of Green Bay, Sandy Rusch (Joe) of Shawano, Debbie Gast of Kaukauna, Bobbi Jo Chapin (Calvin) of Clintonville and Robin Wegner (Tony) of Shawano; his nephews, Noah and Kristofor; his former wife Kay Gast; and his close friend Jeanette Waupoose.
