It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald W. Goers of Shawano, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 8, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donald W. Goers to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Goers and Helen Goers (Schilke); his wife Doris C. Hoernke; his stepbrother Roger Goers; his sister-in-law Gladys Wesener; and his niece Glenda Stoffel.
He is survived by: his children, Denise Geertsma (Peter) and Dana Goers; his grandchildren, Craig Kamke, Stacie Kamke, Devon Goers and Jesse Goers; his close friend Audrey Fisken; his brother-in-law Jim Wesener (Rose); and his cousins, Douglas Goers (Joyce), Bill Gores and Mary Goers. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Navarino Nature Center in Don's name.
