He was predeceased by: his parents, Rupert Braatz and Dorothy Braatz (Rusch); his son Mark Braatz; and his siblings, Bonnie, Harvey, Lawrence and Eddie.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Clayton; his children, Jeff Braatz (Karen) of Bryant, Barb Braatz of Iron River and Joe Braatz (Lee) of Shawano; his daughter-in-law Brenda Braatz of Sparta; and his brother Gerald'Jerry'Braatz. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
