He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Laux and Sarah Laux (Roberts); his granddaughter Hailey Nicole Cummings; his siblings, Veryl Meyer (Frank), Roger Laux and Leland Laux; and his sister-in-law Phylis Laux.
He is survived by: his wife Alice; his child Kathleen Cummings (James) of Shawano; his grandchildren, Melissa, Steven Laux, Courtney Weisnicht (Ryan), Brendan and Christa Cummings; his great grandchildren, Abby and Hazel; his stepsiblings, Harold Hauser and Janet Born; and his sister-in-law Barbara Laux. He is also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
