He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Behnke and Phyllis Behnke (Schutt); and his brothers, Randall, Ronald and Larry Behnke.

He is survived by: his son Kevin Behnke of Shawano; his grandson Grant Behnke; the mother of his child Becky Behnke; and his siblings, Bonnie Behnke, Ricky Behnke (Jacky), Judy Merten, Joanne Jagodzinski (Clem), Tommy Behnke, Sally Lohrentz and Nancy Behnke.
