He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Shigeko (Toyokawa); his children, Judy Morgan (David P.), Dale Jr. and Dennis; his mother Mary A. Schlehlein; his sisters, Maryanne Scholler (Lawrence) and Nancy Schlehlein; his father George J. Schlehlein; and also Tracy Osmani-Lusha (Gazmend). He was also cherished by 17 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
