She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Hecke and Marjorie Van Hecke (Messenger); her husband Myron J. Kosmal; her sisters, Judy Saunders and Mary Hanes; and her siblings-in-law, Kathy Van Hecke, Sam Saunders and Terry Hanes.
She is survived by: her children, Marsha Kosmal-Orr (Steve) and Bradley Kosmal; her grandchildren, Moriah Tous-Bryant (Sebastian) and Garrett Larson (Brittni); her great grandchild Henry Tous-Bryant; her siblings, Jim Van Hecke, Kathy Olm (Richard "Dick"), Mike Van Hecke (Sue), Steve Van Hecke (Jeannette), Joe Van Hecke (Vicki) and Dave Van Hecke (Kay); and her friend Barbara. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
